The tile components are glaze, engobe and biscuit. The engobe makes a flat surface on ceramic which improves glaze quality and beauty. Water absorption decreases beauty of ceramic and it may separate glaze from the biscuit. The amount of porosity in the structure of the engobe and biscuit affect water absorption. Holes and capillaries increase probability of water movement from the biscuit to the ceramic tile’s surface. Thus changing the engobe components is a way for controlling water movement to the surface. In recent study, the effects of addition of two kinds of refractory materials such as magnesite (MgCO3) and dolomite (CaMg(CO3)2) on water absorption property of ceramic were studied. After sample preparation, engobe and glaze were coated on the biscuit and the ceramic was heated in the furnace at 1134˚C for 42 minutes. Samples were evaluated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), flexural strength, shrinkage and water absorption methods. The colorimetric measurements for ceramic tile surface were carried out using CIE-L*a*b* standard. The results show that after addition of magnesite and dolomite to the engobe, water absorption decreased. Also, a high shrinkage is carried out for the samples and the flexural strength increases while the brightness (L*) decreases. The SEM micrographs show that after addition of these materials, the particles in the engobe layer are sintered and block the capillaries. Thus they can prevent water diffusion to the glaze surface.}, keywords = {Engobe,Dolomite,Magnesite,water absorption,porosity,Colorimetric parameters}, title_fa = {بررسی خواص فیزیکی کاشی سرامیکی با افزودن مواد دیرگداز دولومیت و منیزیت به ترکیب انگوب}, abstract_fa = {آزمایش جذب آب یکی از ملاک‌های ارزیابی سرامیک‌های ساختمانی است. کاشی از اجزاء لعاب، انگوب و بیسکویت تشکیل شده است. انگوب با ایجاد یک سطح صاف بر روی بدنه سرامیک سبب بهبود کیفیت سطح لعاب و زیبایی آن نیز می‌شود. جذب آب در سرامیک موجب کاهش زیبایی و جدایی لعاب از بدنه است. از عناصر اثرگذار در جذب آب کاشی سرامیکی، میزان تخلخل‌های موجود در ساختار انگوب و بدنه است. وجود حفره‌ها و کانال‌های مویرگی، امکان انتقال آب از پشت بدنه به سطح کاشی سرامیکی را باعث می‌شود. بنابراین از راه‌های مناسب برای بهبود و کنترل انتقال آب به سطح کاشی، تغییر در ترکیب انگوب است. در این تحقیق اثر افزودن مواد دیرگدازی چون دولومیت و منیزیت به ترکیب انگوب مورد استفاده در صنعت، بر خاصیت جذب آب سرامیک مطالعه شد. پس از آماده‌سازی نمونه‌ها، انگوب و لعاب بر روی بدنه لایه‌نشانی شدند وکاشی سرامیکی به مدت 42 دقیقه در کوره خط تولید با دمای C° 1134 قرار داده شد. نمونه‌های کاشی با استفاده ازطیف XRD و SEM و همچنین استحکام خمشی و انقباض و جذب آب اعتبارسنجی شدند. مولفه‌های رنگ کاشی‌های سرامیکی با استفاده از سیستم CIE L*a*b* اندازه‌گیری شد. نتایج نشان داد بعد از افزودن دولومیت و منیزیت به ترکیب انگوب جذب آب کاهش می‌یابد. همچنین سفیدی سطح کاهش یافته و انقباض شدید به همراه افزایش استحکام خمشی برای نمونه‌ها رخ می‌دهد. تصاویر SEM نشان می‌دهد بعد از افزودن این مواد، به ترکیب انگوب، ذرات به هم چسبیده و تخلخل‌ها بسته می‌شوند. این پدیده مانع انتشار و جذب آب به لایه لعاب شده است.}, keywords_fa = {انگوب,دولومیت,منیزیت,جذب آب,تخلخل,مولفه‌های رنگی}, url = {https://jcst.icrc.ac.ir/article_76235.html}, eprint = {https://jcst.icrc.ac.ir/article_76235_78cc28fad3edbf2c5b0ab3828214e9fd.pdf} }
